Alfred’s understanding of the unique needs of SL Environmental Law Group’s clients’ stems from the years he spent in local government working as a paralegal for the City Attorney’s Office for the City of Hayward. While working for the City Attorney’s Office, Alfred assisted with the resolution of hundreds of administrative tort claims, and various litigated Federal and State cases. His work with SL Environmental Law Group dovetails perfectly with his continued desire to serve the public interest. Alfred started his career as a litigation paralegal in 2000, with the Furth Firm LLP, where he spent five years working in complex litigation centered around nationwide class action and antitrust matters. Since then he has continued to gain extensive experience in all phases of litigation, working closely with attorneys, experts, and clients.
In addition to his substantial litigation experience, Alfred is knowledgeable about e-discovery in complex litigation. He provides oversight and guidance in all aspects of e-discovery, including the identification, preservation, collection, review, and production of electronically stored information.
Alfred received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers School of Law, Camden.
