Jeff Osbun has over 15 years of civil litigation experience. Since joining the firm in 2005, Jeff has played an integral role in the firm’s groundwater contamination cases. He has assisted in all phases of those cases, working with the firm’s attorneys, experts, and clients. In 2009, Jeff provided critical support to the trial team representing the City of New York in a MTBE groundwater contamination against ExxonMobil. The jury returned a $250 million verdict in favor of the City, with ExxonMobil’s share at $105 million. More recently, he supported the trial team representing the State of New Hampshire in a MTBE case against ExxonMobil that resulted in an $816 million jury verdict, with ExxonMobil’s share at $236 million.
In addition to his substantial trial experience, Jeff is knowledgable about e-discovery in complex litigation. He provides oversight and guidance in all aspects of e-discovery, including the identification, preservation, collection, review, and production of electronically stored information.
Jeff received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and attended law school at Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
