Ratepayers are more concerned about the quality of water that is coming out of their tap more than ever. They are looking to their water provider to ensure that they are serving them clean and safe water. The unintended backlash from the community devalues the trust and value of water a water provider. This is why it important to understand the current litigation theories to recover the treatment costs from the companies casing the pollution.
Richard Head will speak about expert witnesses in his session entitled “Experts: What is needed to win your case?” “When litigating cases involving any emergent contaminant such as PFOA and PFOS, selection of the right expert is critical.” Richard explains, “This presentation will describe the pitfalls and best practices when selecting an expert witness in this new field of science.”
