Nancy Mortvedt is the Director of Client Engagement for SL Environmental Law, drawing upon decades of experience collaborating with and advising senior leaders in water and other sectors to help them succeed in their established business objectives. In her current role, Nancy is dedicated to the voice of SL Environmental Law clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, client-focused solutions.
Nancy joined SL after 13 years leading business development and client relationships on behalf of the American Water Works Association. There, she forged strong affiliations with water utilities, manufacturers and partners throughout the United States, Europe and Israel, increasing overall revenue for the association. Prior to that, she led business development and marketing efforts in the manufacturing, technical, B2B and fundraising industries.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Nancy gives back to her community. She recently served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), advocating for abused and neglected children through the court system. She has also held leadership positions serving as Past President of BPW (Business & Professional Women), Foundation, VP of Toastmasters, and other professional business groups. She grew up in Michigan and earned dual bachelor’s degrees in marketing and advertising. Nancy has 3 grown children and lives with her husband and beloved dog, Marley near Evergreen, Colorado, a mountain community outside of Denver.
